Ready Or Not Here He Comes! 歌词

When i was a boy i used to sing E-i-e-i, oli, oli, oxen free, where'd everybody go? We'd run and find a place to hide not wanting to be found Every time we'd run away these words would resound "ready or not, here i come" And we'd find a place to run "ready or not, here i come" And the game had just begun When i was a child i used to hear the teachers say "will you ever grow up, and put childish things away?" As i grew older i learned if i would pray I would hear another voice and this is what he'd say "ready or not, here i come" It was the voice of god's own son "ready or not, here i come" And there's no place you can run He's coming as a thief, a thief in the night All that is hidden, will come to light For the day of the lord will be feared So harken to his word and draw near... i will draw near Ready or not, here he comes Every eye will see god's son Ready or not, here he comes There'll be no place you can run He's coming... ready or not!
